Adam and Kelly

I was saved in July of 1998 and called by God into the ministry in 2002. He graduated the Bible-Way Baptist Institute in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. Kelly was saved in February of 2009. We were married on May 30th of the same year. We were both active in serving the Lord at the Bible-Way Missionary Baptist Church. Kelly was one of the church pianists and worked in the children's ministry. I was the music director and taught the young adults Sunday School class. In March of 2011, I felt the Lord calling me to foreign missions. After much prayer and counsel, we surrendered to go to the country of Ghana, West Africa. We began to preparations for deputation and our new life on the mission field. After finishing deputation with 100% of our support raised, we arrived in Ghana on March 30, 2016. Since that time, we have been working in the city of Kumasi. God has given us two wonderful families to work with, the John Sommer family and the Andrew Aaron family. Laboring alongside them has allowed us to gain practical ministry experience and has given us the time and opportunity to learn the culture of Ghana, as well as study the Twi language. We are planning to branch out and begin to plant our first independent work at the beginning of our second term.
